A serious injury can change everyday life without warning. Whether caused by a motor vehicle accident, sports injury, fall, or recreational activity, SHICS Health Care Solutions can provide nursing and caregiver support throughout the recovery process.
Our goal is to help each client transition safely from hospital to home while maintaining comfort, dignity, and as much independence as possible. Services are personalized according to the injury, prescribed treatment plan, functional abilities, living environment, and recovery goals.
Support From Hospital to Home
While the client is hospitalized, a SHICS caregiver or private duty nurse can provide bedside companionship, observe changes, help communicate concerns, and serve as an additional advocate as the clinical team develops the plan of care.
After discharge, support may continue in the client's home, a hotel, rehabilitation setting, or another temporary residence. Our caregivers work alongside the client, family, physicians, therapists, and other providers to promote a coordinated recovery.

Personalized Support for Every Stage of Recovery
The effects of a traumatic injury may be temporary or life-changing. Some clients need short-term assistance following a fracture or surgical repair, while others require more extensive support after a spinal cord injury, amputation, traumatic brain injury, or multiple injuries.
SHICS develops each plan around what matters most to the client — returning home, resuming work, attending appointments, continuing rehabilitation, reconnecting socially, or adapting safely to new physical needs.
With compassionate, dependable support, clients and families can focus on healing and rebuilding daily life with greater confidence.
All services are based on an individualized assessment and provided in accordance with clinical orders, the established plan of care, caregiver qualifications, and applicable facility and transportation requirements.
